# Get the published manifest

> Read the manifest of an app's published version or latest preview.

> Reintersect apps are in developer preview. Names and limits can still change before general
> release.

`reintersect check --app` uses this to compare your code's access with the published version.

Authenticate with a member API key of the app's owner or of a workspace owner or admin, or with a
deploy token for this app. Any other caller gets `ReintersectAppNotFoundError`.

## Query

| Parameter | Required | Description |

| `target` | Yes | `production` for the published version, `preview` for the latest preview. |

## Response

`{ version: { id, number, createdAt }, manifest }`.

## Errors

| `_tag` | Status | Cause |
| - | - | - |
| `ReintersectAppNotFoundError` | 404 | No such app, or you may not read it. |
| `ReintersectAppVersionNotFoundError` | 404 | No version for that target yet. |
